About

I became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2014 after 3000 hours of training at Makami College in Edmonton, Alberta. I focused on corporate/chair, Swedish relaxation, prenatal, deep tissue, therapeutic, and hot stone massage treatments.

In 2017, I completed over 1700 additional hours of training at the National Manual Osteopathy College in Red Deer, Alberta studying manual osteopathic techniques.

Before all of this, I was a scientist. I studied biology (biochemistry and molecular biology mostly).
I know how your muscles work because I know how their molecules work!

I enjoy teaching people how their muscles work, how they can be trained, and how people can do self-care on their muscles to self-treat for most of the ailments they encounter in their day to day lives.

When I’m not working, I enjoy “playing” with computer hardware and software.

I check for email, phone, and social media notifications (Facebook, Nextdoor, and LinkedIn only) first thing in the morning and once or twice through the day. The best way to reach me is by email (rob@robhodgins.com robhodginscalm@gmail.com), text (780 862-5335), or write me a letter. I am also on Signal.
