For a while, a Not Secure message was appearing in the address of my website. I see this on other sites. I finally decided to do something about it. There isn’t anything on my site that really requires getting overly concerned about security, but it was annoying.
I needed an SSL certificate. I’ve heard about those. Nope, don’t know much more about them than that. As always, the “care, feeding, and overhead” of this entity needed to be considered…
I figured I’d go for it.
Thankfully, the help staff at Netfirms were available. The installation wasn’t a slam dunk for me. Thank you, Netfirms!
